The EUG 2026 has reached the finish line. For all of us at CUS Salerno, it has been a true pleasure to welcome the youth of Europe.
Over these incredible weeks, we witnessed a wonderful coming together of people from different backgrounds and with different stories, united by the passion and values of university sport. The University of Salerno campuses and our cities were filled with energy thanks to your presence – and that was the greatest gift of all.
The Closing Ceremony of EUG 2026 is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new one. Our connection with Europe does not end here. We will continue working to ensure that this bridge of dialogue, friendship, and exchange remains strong every day.
We are proud to be part of the great family of European University Sport.
The entire CUS Salerno team worked tirelessly and wholeheartedly, facing every challenge with a smile. We hope you felt at home during your stay. We shared this unforgettable experience with you, and now we invite you to keep sharing it with us. It is through meeting one another, exchanging ideas, and sharing experiences that we build the best future together.

Cari studenti,
gli European Universities Games 2026 sono giunti al termine e, per tutti noi del CUS Salerno, accogliere la gioventù d’Europa è stato una vera festa.
In queste straordinarie settimane abbiamo respirato un’autentica fusione di popoli, di storie diverse, uniti dalla passione e dai valori dello sport universitario. I campus dell’Università degli Studi di Salerno e le nostre città si sono animate della vostra energia: questo il regalo più bello!
La cerimonia di chiusura degli EUG Salerno 2026 non è un punto di arrivo, ma un nuovo inizio. Il nostro legame con l’Europa non si ferma qui. Continueremo a lavorare perché questo ponte di dialogo e di confronto resti vivo ogni giorno.
Siamo orgogliosi di far parte della grande famiglia dello sport universitario Europeo.
L’intero team del CUS Salerno ha lavorato senza sosta con il cuore, rivolgendo un sorriso, in ogni difficoltà . Il nostro auspicio è che vi siate sentiti a casa. Abbiamo condiviso con voi questa straordinaria esperienza, ora continuate a condividerla con tutti noi. È solo attraverso l’incontro, lo scambio e la reciproca contaminazione che nascono idee migliori per il futuro.
